My first attempt to get you this content was via video and well that just didn’t work out I am spending The Thanksgiving Holiday at Heather’s parents house in South Florida and my equipment failed me not to mention they have a very very slow upload speed (a 100 mb video was 89 minutes to upload…YAWN forget that)…and so I am going to attempt to convey what I had in the video here in short!

First off I’ve got to thank Lucas Cepeda he’s a part of our gang for internet marketing success and he inspired me to share this content with you.

I was on skype the other day with Lucas and he was kind of in a bummed out mood….just wasn’t happy with where he was in his internet marketing career…wasn’t at his desired level of success.

And so I listened so more and learned that he has the knowledge he needs to succeed (again the NEO analogy from The Matrix…just like NEO, Lucas has the knowledge he just needs to fine tune a few things and he’ll be able to see The Matrix)

What I discovered about Lucas is that he’s got so much knowledge he just doesn’t know exactly where to start…he tinkered with different things and has had some successes because he’s taken action, and the result of that action is new knowledge and experience that is crucial to your success journey.

Now if you don’t have the knowledge that Lucas has it’s ok you should still read this, because I am going to provide one success nugget at the end of this that will help insure you have success online.

So Lucas needs to first acknowledge that which he did after talking with me and pat himself on the back, because he’s taking action, learning, and evolving…all of this action taking and new knowledge and lessons is what gets you ready for the BIG SHOW!

You don’t just arrive at the BIG SHOW…there are instances where folks have super fast success without much effort but that happens like winning the lottery…it’s rare!

So Lucas is close he just needs to discover what his true passion is within internet marketing…

We have to be careful with this one because sometimes we LIE to ourselves.  We are our own biggest liars.

Sometimes we tell ourselves what we want to hear even though it isn’t the truth, and so how can we be sure that what we say we have a burning desire for is for real and not us convincing ourselves because it’s some new fad promising a short cut to riches.

So this is what I told Lucas to do…I said first you must make a personal promise to yourself that you’ll commit to doing this for 7 days, and it’s a small commitment to make for a lifetime of success…wouldn’t you agree…you only have to do something for 7 days to unlock one of the secrets to your success.

He agreed…so here’s what I told Lucas….

Get a journal and keep it by your computer and honestly write in that journal what you spent your time on line doing…you have to be honest…and don’t be ashamed…don’t write in you journal something that isn’t true because you don’t want to look bad to yourself….BE HONEST!

So if you spend an hour to two hours in the morning going through emails and reading subject lines and opening emails write it down…

If you spend time buying WSO’s or other information products write it down…write down what you invested in….The Topic/Subject Matter

Write down what information you consumed and what you took action on.

Did you write content, or did you tweak websites, did you read and write sales copy, did you research keywords….etc

You’re not doing this to be accountable for your time so don’t worry be honest this isn’t meant to make you look bad.

It’s meant to discover what you really like to do based on your natural behavior.

After 7 days review your journal from an unbiased perspective and think about how you can monetize what you’re doing…

Now that you know you can drill down and focus.

My next suggestion would be to invest in all the trainings on that subject matter and get stuff from as many people as possible, because you’ll gain different perspectives from different people on the same subject matter…giving you a well rounded education…making you more of an expert.

And you’ll discover who you like to learn from…hence discovering your mentor.

Now I would invest in everything my mentor has created and would model my business after them…Remember “Success Leaves Clues”

Also when you invest in everything your mentor has created it gives you an access ticket to your mentor…it’s what I’ve done with my mentors and what people I’ve mentored done to access me.

I’ll tell you it feels pretty awesome and fulfilling when you can access your mentor directly and mastermind with them…you’ll feel pretty successful when that happens to you.

If you follow this little formula you should have the success you desire….

NOTE:  This is more sustainable way to build success in your business, and you maybe in a situation like Lucas where you may have to get a JOB to sustain yourself, or stay at a JOB to sustain yourself until your internet business can replace your job so you need something that happens faster and cheaper than what I described up above.

Now if you were to ask me Anthony what’s the fastest possible way for me to make some fast cash like by this Sunday?

My response to you would be to create a WSO!

The next thing you should learn is TRAFFIC GENERATION…

Internet Marketing boils down to traffic plus conversions equals = profits

No matter what you decide to focus on later you still need to have a full understanding of these two MAJOR concepts, because they will drive your business.

If you understand how to get traffic you can screw everything else up in your business and still be ok!

Even if something doesn’t work you now know what doesn’t work and you can teach your apprentice what not to do.

By giving you’ll be getting so don’t be a hog and share when you do you’ll actually see yourself becoming a money magnet.
